About Us
OUR HISTORY
Radon Diagnostic Laboratory was established in 1988 to provide testing services for the analyses of air radon and water radon. We are the oldest privately owned radon testing laboratory in the state and have analyzed thousands of homes, office building, schools, multi-family housing units, and industrial facilities.
Since our inception we have provided radon analyses for customers in Maine and New Hampshire. We have performed special radon projects for customers from Maine to California and even Europe and Asia.
Our staff of scientists and certified radon measurement specialists provide the utmost in quality instrumentation thereby giving the client fast and accurate results.
Experience
With over 25 years experience in radon analysis RDL has become the premier testing laboratory for water and air radon. We provide personailized attention to our client's needs and requests.
Our mission is to provide reliable service, credible data and a strong business with our clients.
RDL is recognized by the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) as an Accredited Radon Laboratory - #ARL 1303.

Internships
A & L Laboratory has a long history of supporting university-level internships. The primary objective of the A & L's Education Program is to provide opportunities for students to experience hands-on laboratory skills and quality control requirements. A & L's Education Programs help to ensure a future work force that will carry on the long-term mission of A & L and other environmental companies throughout Maine.
